Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died January 19 the 19th of January, 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactor, film, television and theatre director. Pleshette started out as a theatre actress. She was in films during the 1950s in the latter half of the decade. Then, Pleshette was a prominent actor in films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (12001). Later, she was featured in several television productions and frequently appeared in the role of a guest. She was Emily Hartley from 1972 to 1978 on The Bob Newhart show, in which she received several Emmy Award nominations.
